Pittsburgh based Ballymoney Real Estate Company, Inc. was formed in 1987  to provide enhanced real estate management services for a family owned portfolio of shopping centers.   Since then, it has leveraged that knowledge and has expanded into third party management services including consulting, leasing and construction oversight.

John R. McGinley, Jr., Esq.

Chairman & President

John R. McGinley (Jack) is the Chairman and President of Ballymoney Real Estate Services, Inc. and its related entities.

 

Jack started his career as an Assistant District Attorney for Allegheny County from 1969 to 1970.  He later co-founded the firm Grogan Graffam McGinley, P.C., where he practiced for more than 30 years before joining Eckert Seamans as an equity partner in 2002 and where he still sits as Chairman and is on the Executive Board.

Jack’s roots run deep in Pittsburgh as he has been affiliated with many organizations in and around the city:

  • The Pittsburgh Foundation, Chair – Board of Directors

  • Pittsburgh Steelers Sports, Inc., Director

  • Duquesne University, Chair – Board of Directors

  • Duquesne University, Chair Investment Committee, Director

Jack graduated in 1965 with his B.S. from St. Bonaventure University and continued his education by receiving his J.D. at Duquesne University School of Law in 1968. Bar admissions include Supreme Court of the United States, Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, United State Court of Appeals (Third Circuit), United State District Court of the Western District of Pennsylvania.

Lori Moran

Vice President, Real Estate Development

Lori Moran has been Vice President of Ballymoney Real Estate Services, Inc. since 1992. She is responsible for the commercial real estate development as well as commercial property management. 

In her capacity, Ms. Moran oversees property sales and acquisitions; site planning and development; permitting and environmental; site work; design and construction; contracts, lease negotiation; marketing; management; all fiscal matters.

Ms. Moran's community involvement includes:

  • East Liberty Chamber of Commerce, President

  • East Liberty Neighborhood Improvement District, President

  • International Conference of Shopping Centers, Member

  • Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Member

  • Advisory Board Center for Women’s Entrepreneurship, Chatham University
